Is this game free?

Yes, this game is free to play and supported by ads. We do offer users opportunities to purchase power-ups like Hints, but these are not necessary to play the game.

How do I close the app?

Press the Home button twice to open the App Switcher. Swipe the app up off the screen to close it.

How can I mute sound effects and music?

Tap the gear icon to open the Settings menu and toggle Sound and Music. Please note that this affects the sound on our game but does not mute the sound on adverts.

How can I mute adverts?

If you want to mute adverts that run on our game, we recommend you mute the Media Audio on your device.

How do I play WordHop?

On each level, make as many words as you can using the letters given. To enter a word, press down on the first letter and drag over each letter in turn until you have spelled out the word. Release to check if the word fits. Fill out the puzzle with all the missing words to advance to the next level.

What are Hidden Words?

Hidden Words are secret words that can be made using the letters available on each level, but which aren’t part of the puzzle. Find Hidden Words across the game to win prizes!

How do I uninstall the app?

Press and hold the WordHop app icon on the iOS Home Screen until your icons start wiggling.
Press the X in the corner of the WordHop app icon
Tap Delete in the dialogue
Press the Home button on your device to exit the uninstall mode
